Competition Contacts – Sending Results / Resolving Issues:

·   Please note: Mr D.Woollaston is the Secretary for the Bedfordshire County Schools’ Football Association 2008/09.

·   However, to assist Dave with the mammoth task of running the County Cup competitions (as well as all the other work he does for schools’ football), a new post of ‘Competition Secretary’ has been created.

·   For the season 2008/09 the Competitions Secretary is Mr Kevin Igglesden (Cardinal Newman School).

·   Mr D.Woollaston will continue to register schools for the County Cup competitions on receipt of their entry forms / monies and will complete the draws for each competition.  Mr D.Woollaston will also continue to arrange County Cup Finals, including FA Officials and trophies for the winners and runner-up schools.

·   Mr D.Woollaston will send all schools a single copy of the draws and each of the following:

1) Competition Codes of Conduct (for players, teachers, match officials and parents / guardians / spectators);

2) Competition Rules (specific, deadline and general);

3) Competition Contacts (for sending results and/or resolving issues).

· Mr K.Igglesden MUST receive ALL results by e-mail (even if an initial phone call is made to meet a deadline).

Any other issues / problems can be managed by either e-mail or a phone call – in many instances a phone call is more appropriate.

Please Remember…

·   Following the completion of a fixture, the WINNING school MUST e-mail their result to the competition secretary on or before the FIRST Monday following the original deadline date (SCENARIO 1).

·   If the result is not e-mailed by the winning school on or before the FIRST Monday following the original deadline date, the winning school MUST e-mail the result on or before the SECOND Monday following the original deadline date (if not an assumption will be made that the initial fixture did not take place = neither school through to the next round / waiting school will receive a bye) (SCENARIO 2).
